Thank you to those that joined us for our February 9th Conversation. We will be continuing the work and the conversion on March 9th.  We are leaning on A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction to support this reflection, specifically Stride 1 for March, “How Do I Engage Students in Learning?” 

The big picture for all of us is to navigate ways for students to share their voice and thinking to improve and propel that of their classmates as well.

We are leaning on A Pathway to Equitable Math Instruction to support this reflection, specifically Stride 1 for February, “How Do I Track What My Students Know?” We hope to continue to reflect on these monthly prompts in Stride 1 for the remainder of this school year and with schedule changes, modes of instruction changes, it may not be possible. Our intent is to share this with you as a resource that could be used within your building with a coach and/or with PLC work.

We invite you and others you know to submit one or more original mathematics activities, lessons, or units that have a focus on issues of social justice and/or teaching mathematics for empowerment and liberation.

Submit original math activities for a PK-2, Grades 3-5, or Grades 6-8 books coming out.
