** This PD satisfies ELL/MLL CEU hour requirements for relicensure **Math educators across the state have seen an increase of multilingual learners (MLs) with a variety of challenges they face being fully engaged and successful within secondary math classrooms. Understanding what their MLs can do and incorporating appropriate language scaffolding techniques provides greater access to the content and will create a more meaningful math experience for all students, especially MLs. Come to this full-day professional development opportunity to experience, learn, and add tools to your toolbox that will help you be more intentional about supporting both mathematical content and English language development throughout your instruction. Specific strategies that support beginning, intermediate, and advanced MLs will be shared including several different math language routines that really work. We look forward to seeing you there!
